About Richard L. Petersen
Rich obtained his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, his law degree from Creighton University, and an additional masters in tax law (LL.M) from the University of Washington. Richard Petersen has been practicing law for Utah families and businesses since 2003, with a special emphasis in the following areas:

For the 10+ years following his formal education, Rich worked at a Utah County firm and specialized in Estate Planning and Administration. Eventually, he transitioned to a larger firm based in Salt Lake City, specializing in Tax and Business Law.
In 2018, Rich created his own firm, Richard L. Petersen, LLC. Drawing from his range of professional experience, Rich intentionally structured this new business to provide his clients with efficient, quality legal counsel.
